North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP invites community to upcoming Town Hall meeting

"The North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP is inviting members of the public to a Town Hall meeting on February 19, 2026. The meeting will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Somenos Room at the Cowichan Community Centre at 2687 James Street in Duncan, B.C.
The meeting will provide residents with an opportunity to share their input on the detachment’s 2026–2027 policing priorities. Attendees will also receive a presentation highlighting some of the detachment’s work over the past year.
“These meetings are an important way for us to hear directly from the community about their concerns and expectations,” said Cst. Tessa McDonald, Media Relations Officer for the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP. “Public feedback helps guide our priorities and ensures we continue working toward a safer community together.”
Community members will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss policing concerns specific to their neighbourhoods."
