Every year, on October 1, Canada celebrates National Seniors Day, an occasion to recognize and celebrate older adults. Canadian seniors enrich and contribute to our families, workplaces and communities in countless ways, sharing their knowledge, experience and memories to ground and inspire us every day.

We invite you—advocates for seniors, service providers, front-line workers, caregivers, community program coordinators, and all others providing support to seniors—to help spread the word about National Seniors Day. Celebrate the seniors in your life and highlight older adults in your communities across the country.

How are you going to celebrate National Seniors Day? Do you have an activity lined up? We’d love to hear about it!
