COWICHAN BRAIN INJURY SOCIETY OPEN HOUSE JUNE 1st
Cowichan Brain Injury Society (CBIS) will be hosting an open house for community members on June 1st from 12-3pm at 481 Trans Canada Highway unit 106 in the parking lot. The Cowichan Brain Injury Society is a place for people to learn and connect. Brain injury survivors come to build friendships, receive support, link up with valuable community resources, and explore life interests. CBIS will have a booth with information available regarding brain injuries, recovery, upcoming events and more.

Cowichan Community Policing will also have a booth with the following information:

  • Free Friendly Phones – Daily morning call to seniors/elders
  • Seniors Safety/Elder Safety Ageing Friendly population and vulnerable population.
  • It’s Not Right See Something, Say Something (senior neglect and abuse)
  • Speed Watch/Pedestrian Safety/Reflective Feathers
  • Road Safety – Helmets/Scooters
  • Block Watch
  • Business Watch
