Please join the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP at the Chemainus Legion on March 16th at 6 pm for an RCMP town hall meeting.

We need your input to help establish our pro-active policing initiatives.

Police officers spend the majority of their time responding to calls for service and conducting ongoing investigative follow up. When time allows, officers are in the community proactively working on crime reduction initiatives. Some examples of previous crime reduction initiatives include enhanced foot patrols in the down town business areas, traffic safety campaigns targeting impaired or distracted drivers, engaging with youth in the community and addressing strategic areas of the community with increased police presence.

Each year the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP asks for feedback from the community to help identify priorities and set new policing objectives. Please join us at the Chemainus Legion on March 16th at 6pm to meet officers and share your input, suggestions and feedback.

Feedback from those we serve is really a crucial part of our future planning stated detachment commander Inspector Chris Bear, this lets us set strategic priorities that will have the biggest impact in our community.

We would like to hear from you!
